Well, they seem to be back at it again, new systems, new layout, same old annoying idiots making your life a living hell for the fun of it.
Survive through multiple rounds of a game designed against you, avoid dying by the varied cast of threats, from the threatening, to the non-threatening, to the down-right pathetic, they don't plan to give you a break... Excluding the actual break time over at the break room of course...
Well, I guess you will just have to... Keep standing?

Working on something in blender
since I have seen absolutely NO fanart of this awesome sauce game, I decided to make my own :3

this game was amazing, good job on getting to 3rd place in the game jam!
You know, I would probably quite like this game if leaving something for another session didn't cause me to lose all audio, and their was something accounting for the lack of save files! I mean, why shouldn't I be able to choose what round I want to play? Or, what about save codes like in some retro games? Sure, you have the round coins to worry about, but you can just give me all the coins from any previous rounds when I select a round!
Considering the lack of saving, round 5 is too hard! (If their were saving/skipping to where you left off, then it'd be a fair challenge.) The custom night is probably also too hard, given how you have to beat the entire game to unlock it. (That's it. The only reason I feel the custom night is 'probably too hard' is because you have to beat the entire game for it. In one sitting. God forbid if you need to close your browser, or if some other issue happens after turning off your device!)
Also, I don't like how I don't get to change what I've got purchased using coins. I mean, I'm struggling with power, and I can't change my one instance of a health upgrade to another power upgrade!
Since you need to do everything in this game - every round, every challenge, every thing - in one sitting, otherwise you lose all audio (at least, if you're on Firefox), this game should be called "Keep Sitting". But hey, that's just my witty remark after struggling to beat round 5 and knowing I practically need to do the entire game all over again, from the very beginning. Or, you know, I could just leave. Yeah, I'm just gonna leave.
does anyone know the cheat code for skipping straight to the custom night? Pressing the keys ALT at the same time is not working.
Edit: they meant the separate keys A, L and T. Whitefox you're evil.
is this a bug or its normal? when i close the game and reopen it all my progres is deleted. sorry if i did some spelling mistakes.

almost absolute cinema! great jokes,character,art style and music. but this one is a little bit too easy. All nights, except the last one, can be complited by watching one camera.
Game 3 better have a gun
Both games were incredibly fun and entertaining. The comedy hit just right, and all though it wasn't scary thanks to all the silly sprites and characters, the amount of stress it filled me with was nothing but peak. Although I prefer the first game, as this one feels as though it flows a little less, I adore everything about both Still and Keep standing. Nooow, this isn't just a review comment. I was hoping to get permission for something :D
In short, I may or may not be teaming with star-catalyst.bsky.social (I'm the friend that got them into the game, and you can message them for info) to create an Interactive Visual Novel Dating Game..? I don't think we'd need any sprites, however any tips on your amazing art style or any character personality traits would be beneficial to know. However, all we NEED to get to start up the project is permission to use your world and characters. We've been planning this for maybe 3 days now, and Acidus [Star-catalyst] will be working on sprites, and I, the writing.
If permission is accepted, then we shall continue forward on production and writing. If not, then we are happy to attempt to contribute to this community in other ways. Whatever we make will NOT be sold for any money, but instead posted to the public to enjoy for free. And don't expect it to be anything good, as us two are decently new to this stuff 😅

LOVE the game so much, being able to somewhat get to know and ofcourse Deceit being very toxic and somewhat nearly abusive and other sort of things. Now what I do need is an ending on both Still Standing and Keep Standing, it seems a bit bland without endings, since after I finish both, there were nothing but extras and custom, and it felt somewhat empty without knowing, would be funny if we saw Deceit crashing out on both Still Standing and Keep Standing as an ending whenever you beat Night/Round 5.
The game was really cool (as first one (but a bit better (maybe (I dunno (ble ble ble bla bla bla))))) but one minus is what I can't beat up Deceit like in Still Standing. I'm not gonna sugarcoat it [RMB + LMB].Was easy-medium complete 5 night without any upgrades when I got how to counter Stitches, welp

Really like this game and StillStanding. Streamed the game to a friend while playing, and we both had a blast with figuring out how to not die, and the fact that you can "express yourself"

I wanna make fanart with Reaps in it but can't find any images of just her to use for a reference, I like her the most out of everyone design wise in both games
ngl, when are we gonna get a game where playerguy gets a chance to talk to the characters and actually become friends with them, or atleast treat them with more respect? like a visual novel but just with the ___ standing characters?
sure they can still try and kill him afterwards, it wouldn't even need to be canon, but it can give us a way to see more of the character's lore, and also give an explanation on why they haven't straight up killed playerguy between games yet.
like, personally I wanna like Deceit, her design is nice and honestly she's silly, but also she's very toxic, I want to learn about her more, same with really all of the characters outside of a single dialogue, but due to the limitedness of this game, you can't really get that.
I plan to make silly doodles and small comics on the characters since they are very fun to draw and write, so if you really want to get a bit more of them you can go over to bluesky to get it, its not much, but since im not planing to make another standing game,this is the best next thing
Fair enough, I kind of expected a third game honestly, it just feels like it would be complete after the third...if the third is the last of course...

ngl though, if we don't get to either hug or punch Deceit at the end (player choice) after her losing 3 times, I feel it's gonna be a bit of a dis-service to her at this point, she probably needs that hug.

My laptop and the game are clearly locked in brutal combat. I'll have to mediate between them and see what works. Hoping to beat round five soon! In the meantime, here are some of the images of what's occurring.
Well,after taking a break, beating round five of the first game really easily after trying again (It truly was a skill issue) I decided to try beat round 5 of this game again. I'm confident I can beat it this time.
However, this time the game was being oddly uncooperative. It glitched, froze and even in rounds it slowed down and lagged.
I think it's probably an issue on my end but in my latest try to get the game working, I am proud to bring you the sight that greeted me on the break room of round one.
After a encountering horizontal Bo on the opening cutscene, I encountered this very strange screen.
The game itself must have realized something was wrong, as the music slowed down while I tried to get out. Also, I tested it, Deceit is the vending machine. Bo is hidden behind the Optepede poster.
Truly one of the glitches of all times, I have no idea how it occurred, but my best guess is that I pressed full screen at the wrong time.

This game is great! not many are able to make an engaging fnaf style games. I've quite literally made an account just to comment on this.
All of the characters are great and fleshed out well,and the story is simple yet robust and loveable due to it's simplicity. The gameplay also ramps up very quickly and engagingly.
However, I do have some gripes to share. Namely, the finale in which Deceit joins the night. She's a great addition to the rounds and not the issue (and she counters one of the cheese strats I found, which is good game design), I just think she may have been the tipping point for difficulty as,combined with everything else and much like the first game, I've yet to beat that final round. I'm not going to give up this time, I'll beat it eventually!
...But I do think things get a tad too difficult, and it kind of feels like I'll have to have both quite the speedy wrist and the most favourable conditions there is to beat it.
Now don't get me wrong, I think what you've made is wonderful game and I wouldn't still be trying to beat that round if I didn't like it lots just like the rest of the game, it's just that I think the round lasts so (too) long that it's near inevitable I mess up or the RNG messes me up.
I know you've beaten it yourself, so perhaps the problem is in my end, but I wanted to share my feedback.
Overall, a wonderful game, high quality and a great thing you've made. I'll be sure to beat that round! Also, that half an hour average session is a brutal and insidious lie, straight from the mouth of Deceit herself. I've spent more than that on the final round, and who knows how much more I'll have to spend?
Oh, and by the way... the music does really enhance the experience.I'd like to know where to get it and hear it in an environment that doesn't entail getting beat up by the rounds.
I think i'm just cursed with making a decent difficulty curve that skyrockets on round 5 tbh, I just cant seem to catch a good balance. But I'm glad you find it fun enough to keep trying, I personally love the insanity of it, but I'm aware that it's not everyone's taste.
One of my main goals is to make fun, memorable characters so its heartwarming for people to like this cast and be able to remember their names instead of going "the red one". about the average session thing... I dunno, Deceit wrote the patch notes of the previous game, so maybe she added that on her own on secret, who knows... :)

absolutely loved the characters, their designs and the visual style in general! it's all full of charm that i ADORE in indie game.
i'm not much into fnaf fan games and haven't really played any of them but i found the gameplay loop pretty fun.
however the massive difficulty spike makes it start to feel really overwhelming at some point. first two rounds are basically free, the third one starts to feel like an actual challenge that makes you work for your survival, which i liked!
the fourth round is EXTREMELY tight, i could barely make it out alive after multiple tries. it wouldn't have been so bad if it wasn't for the red vision effect that makes it not just incredibly blinding, but just really unpleasant to look at the screen (i was seeing everything blue for a few seconds after i looked away lol).
also, apparently it's bugged and it stays even after the round ends? also also, i know it's (probably) octopede and it's what they do but i just straight up didn't have time for them with so many different threats to juggle. if the effect wasn't blinding and would maybe just prevent you from seeing the characters on the cameras it would make it so, so much better already.
on round five i gave up. on top of everything else Deceit just makes it too much even for me. i couldn't figure out her mechanic over so much stuff going on at the same time and Doug demanding to stare at him for so long. i don't mind the idea of figure the enemy out on the fly but i just didn't have much space to observe her at all.
still, i had a great time! even the different tombstone writings on the game over screen made it less frustrating and more fun. this game has a lot of personality and it makes me wanna check your other games as well (:

You know, I never thought Deceit's red mist (that's what I called it, dunno why) thingy would be that annoying to players... Then again, I played round 5 about 20 or so times, so maybe I'm just numb to it by now.
I'll make a quality of life patch as soon as possible with small fixes and small balance tweaks.
Although there is one thing I don't get, is the red effect on round four? cuz that aint supposed to happen, that is a Deceit only thing.
